A 30-Day UGC Content Calendar (Starting Point, Not a Script)
Thirty days of briefs, organized by the same four jobs content actually does: make them stop, make them trust you, make them want it, make them remember you.
Use it loosely. Skip a day, reorder a week, adapt any of these to the brand and the creator you're actually casting. The structure is the starting point. The brief is still yours to write.
Week 1: Make them stop
Day 1. Brief the creator to open mid-action, no setup, no "hi guys." Day 2. Have them start mid-sentence, like the camera missed the intro. Day 3. Cast someone to react honestly to a trend already circulating in your category, not just recreate it. Day 4. Show the real mess or mistake before the fix, not the polished demo. Day 5. Use the outtake instead of the "hero" take, if it's the more honest one. Day 6. Pull a real question your team gets asked constantly, hand it to a creator to answer on camera. Day 7. Brief a creator to film the moment the product actually surprised them, unscripted.
Week 2: Make them trust you
Day 8. A real review from an actual customer, unscripted reaction. Day 9. Brief a creator to address the one objection your sales team hears every week. Day 10. A how-to from a creator that solves a problem adjacent to the product, not just about it. Day 11. Behind-the-scenes footage of how the product is actually made or delivered. Day 12. A "what I wish I knew before" testimonial from a real early customer. Day 13. An honest side-by-side comparison, including a real con. Day 14. A creator's real first impression, filmed live, no retakes.
Week 3: Make them want it
Day 15. Have a creator unbox it like they would for themselves, not for camera. Day 16. A day-in-the-life with the product woven in naturally, not called out. Day 17. Show the product solving a real problem mid-scene, not staged. Day 18. A routine video that includes it without announcing it. Day 19. Close-up detail and texture shots that show quality. Day 20. A before-and-after, if genuinely applicable to the category. Day 21. A creator styling or using it their own way, not the brand's script.
Week 4: Make them remember you
Day 22. A user-created ad concept, shot and cast like a real ad, not styled as UGC. Day 23. Behind-the-scenes footage from an actual shoot day. Day 24. Build a recurring bit with one creator your audience starts to recognize. Day 25. A creative remix or re-edit of your best-performing piece, different hook, same footage. Day 26. License a trending audio, brief a creator to bring their own point of view to it. Day 27. A teaser for an upcoming campaign, even a small one. Day 28. A creator's honest take on the category, not just the product.
Bonus days
Day 29. Pull performance data from the month, find the top piece, and brief a similar concept with a different creator. Day 30. Route what your audience actually asked for back into next month's brief.
